From a young age, I knew that I wanted to spend my life doing what I could to advocate for and empower people with disabilities as having a disability myself taught me about the challenges people with disabilities often face. That certainty I had helped to transform that goal I had as a kid into a mission that I became determined to carry out.

I’ve continually brainstormed and sought out different ways that I could carry out that mission, my mission. I did volunteer work in high school that supported my mission, I chose a field of study that supported that mission, I’ve been looking for jobs that support my mission. It blows my mind to see how much that mission has shaped my life.

After graduating with my latest degree and beginning the search for a job, I felt that there was something that I could be doing to continue my mission while I wasn’t working yet. I decided I needed to use my story and experiences as a way to raise awareness and educate. That was where Symbiotic CP began.
